The forum rules! Not respecting them will result in a ban. They aren't that hard to follow.
1. Remember the human In famous Reddit words - remember that the person behind the screen you're talking to is also a human being. Everyone has their own life story which we don't know, and we shouldn't assume. Ad hominem attacks, attempts at "cancelling" the other user will not be tolerated. This isn't a high school mean girls club. 2. Hate speech isn't allowed And neither are the hate groups. So, TERFs, Nazis, Queerphobes, Racists, White supremacists etc etc, are not welcome here. Personal insults aren't either. If you have a problem with someone, take it to DMs. Moderators should be the last ones involved. 3. NSFW? There is a forum dedicated to it. You can join by requesting so (if you're 18+, of course). Otherwise, NSFW isn't allowed, except for there. There might be minors on this site, and I want them to feel safe and welcome.
4. But this is problematic- Is the user posting hate speech? Are they discriminating against others? Are they being offensive or insultive? Or are you just disagreeing with their views? Kill the cop inside your head. You can't be ACAB until something you dislike happens.
5. Don't like? Don't read. This site functions on that principle. If you don't like a certain discussion, feel free to move to another forum, or wait for it to pass. There is no need for you to put yourself in a bad headspace and expose yourself to things that are bad for you.
6. Sensitive topics You can discuss mental health in mental health topics, but posting pictures of self harm and stuff like that isn't allowed. People here are not trained psychologists. Mods especially.
